Cookie Care Information
General Storage
All cookies come individually wrapped in cellophane bags that are heat sealed and air tight. In these bags, they will last up to 3 weeks. They should be kept at room temperature and not in the refrigerator. Avoid storing them near anything warm, whether that be an oven, microwave, or direct sunlight
Freezer Instructions
To freeze your cookies, simply place them in a plastic Tupperware container with a tight fitting lid in their individual bags; DO NOT take them out of those cellophane bags! To maintain the cookie's overall freshness, it is recommended the cookies be frozen no longer than 3 months. The cookies can either be shingled in the container (side by side) or can be stacked on top of one another. If you plan on doing the stacking method, placing bubble wrap/wax paper/parchment paper between the layers is recommended to avoid any breakage. **For cookies with floral details, bubble wrap is highly recommended**
Thawing Instructions
To thaw your cookies, take the Tupperware container out of the freezer and place on the counter until it has come to room temperature, typically 4-6 hours. To help prevent condensation on the outside of the cellophane bags, keep the lid on the Tupperware container. If the lid is removed before the cookies are completely thawed, it can affect the icing. Please be patient and no peaking until they are at room temperature! Frozen or not, dark or deep colors do have a chance or color bleeding over time; unfortunately this is out of my control!
